MAINE
Chapter 500: Stormwater Management. In response to the legislative directive contained in Resolves 2011, Chapter 46, the Department of Environmental Protection proposes to amend Chapter 500, Section 10, Conditions of Approval under the storm water law to provide that permits issued with respect to this law are valid for 4 years after they are issued and that a person who holds such a permit has 7 years to complete a project pursuant to such a permit. MASSACHUSETTS
HB 380: An Act Related To Commercial Rebate Expiration. This bill would require that any rebate agreement issued within the state allow the purchaser at least one year in which to claim it. It further clarifies that the date of submission shall be considered the date in which it was postmarked and provides for specific enforcement mechanisms under existing law. SB 2027: An Act Relative to Real Estate Tax Abatements. This bill limits the total amount of real estate abatements to $2,500 in any fiscal year following the fifth fiscal year of receipt of the abatement. 2012-H-2135-R: Increasing the threshold amount for taxation under the business enterprise tax.
RHODE ISLAND
ERLID Number: 6548 Department of Insurance Regulation Division: Optional Workers' Compensation Deductibles. This is a repeal of an existing statue covering reporting requirements for medical and indemnity insurance.
