All employees of NECA member companies are invited to participate. Please contact the NECA office (781/245-7400 or neca.org@verizon.net) for information on both short and longer term ways to become more involved in your Association.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Northeast Carwasher – Coordinator open
Gather information about members and their businesses for NECA section of the quarterly, regional magazine. Propose content ideas (ex. interviews) and ensure all material is submitted on time to the publisher. Management prepares material as well. - NECA E-News Editor: Gary Sokoloski
Collect material for NECA’s quarterly, broadcast e-zine (in between Northeast Carwasher distribution) including useful tips, Board and association activities, sources of information, etc.; NECA’s management takes care of editing, lay out and distribution. - Monthly News Brief – Assist NECA management in planning and collecting content
- Web Site - Interface with our web site host and NECA management to maintain an up to date and active web site
- PR/PE - Public Relations/Public Education

Recommend initiatives to Board and assist with implementation. - Facebook Coordinator, Adam Korngold, with NECA management, monitors and updates postings.
MEMBER SERVICES

Research & development of cooperative buying offerings - Provide oversight and review of current benefits and services. Explore potential offerings, and make reports & recommendations to the Board. Work with other committees to review what we offer to members and how benefits can be improved. Click here for a description of current benefits.
- Sign Program - Work with coordinator, Brian Messina, in the development of bi-yearly sign designs Click to see current designs
- Green Best Practices - Develop a document for member use that includes operational, capital and marketing suggestions and strategies.
- Legislative Monitoring - Track and report challenges and issues for the industry; Determine which issues the Association can address

ACTIVITIES (PROGRAMS)
Coordinate programs and events with lots of assistance from the management.
Think outside of the box to provide our members with opportunities to meet and learn (ex. Networking in the Neighborhood, Tools of the Trade seminars.)
- Dinner Meetings & Educational Programs
For Fall Winter meeting, primary responsibilities are to identify topics and speakers, gather information and confer with management on marketing and logistics.

Responsibilities include sponsorship and exhibitor recruitment, tour planning, approval of marketing materials developed by management, etc.

Responsibilities include site selection and facility logistics, sponsorship and exhibitor recruitment, approval of marketing materials developed by management, etc.

Plan/coordinate various aspects of convention; advise convention management; work with representatives of other NRCC affiliated associations

Periodically review by-laws by-law and other governance issues

FINANCE (CONVENE AS NEEDED)
Review Association’s investments, make recommendations, implement as needed; Prepare budgets with assistance of Management
